MacsoftAge III Mac Gold

Congratulations to all the hard working people who made this happen for our Mac fans out there. The team at MacSoft recently announced that the game has gone gold and will be available very soon!

The guys at Inside Mac Games cornered Ensemble's Greg Street for an interview on all things Age III, in anticipation of the game's release. They also have a preview up for you Mac fans.

Patch 1.01 for The WarChiefs is currently in final testing and will be available soon. The patch mainly addresses balance issues and a few exploits that players have found. Here is a complete list of what the patch will address:

CORREZIONI CLIENT

  • Bonus della carta Agenti ridotto da +200% di punti danno a +50%..
  • Le otto carte Spia della città madre inglese e portoghese sono state spostate dalla seconda alla terza età. Le carte di questo tipo già presenti nei mazzi dei giocatori verranno spostate nel mazzo della terza età.
  • Le carte che riducono il costo in legname degli edifici sono state modificate per evitare che il costo si azzeri o diventi negativo.
  • Il contratto Wallenstein ha ora effetto sulle nuove unità mercenarie di WarChiefs.
  • Le spedizioni in coda dalla città madre vengono ora rimosse correttamente durante la rivoluzione.
  • Le carte che consentono alla squadra inglese di ingrassare il bestiame ora funzionano correttamente come descritto.
  • Attacco a distanza con arco lungo ridotto di 2; attacco corpo a corpo ridotto di 1.
  • Corretto un difetto nelle spedizioni effettuate con le carte della squadra..

  • Corretto un errore relativo al caricamento delle statistiche
  • Risolto un problema che bloccava alcuni sistemi nella finestra di dialogo "Connessione a ESO in corso...".
  • Risolti alcuni problemi di rendering nella finestra delle statistiche.

blogBlog Update And Farewell Matty

Bruce Shelley has updated his blog, once again sharing some of the latest happenings here at Ensemble Studios. Some of you probably know or have heard of Matt Scadding, better known as "maimin_matty" to most old time Age players. Matty and his family recently made the decision to move back to Canada, leaving Ensemble Studios. I think Bruce summed things up very well, Matty was a great guy to work with and we wish him the absolute best.
